In the story, a girl confesses to a boy who is very popular due to his celebrity parents. She's liked him ever since he recommended a movie to her at a video store. He accepts her confession of love but then she overhears him saying he is only going out with her for convenience, so that no other girls bother him. The girl confronts him and says that he has to give her a kiss every day as payment if that's how things really are.
