Story 1
This story is about boys as "beasts". A girl and a guy in the same class start dating. The boy is known to play around. The girls asks if they can wait a month to have sex because she didn't want the relationship to be like that. The boy is outraged at first but comes to accept it. The girl later gets paranoid that he's "getting it" from somewhere else. But the boy really likes her.

Story 2
This story is about the guy "novice". The guy in this story likes a sweet girl in the class. He's competing for her with the other bigger guy. He has two besties, a pervy guy and a brash girl. The brash girl obviously likes him. She treats him roughly as she gets jealous. But eventually she decides to help him. The sweet girl's birthday is coming up so she helps him shop for a gift and finds out what nightclub she'll be going to. At the club it turns out the sweet girl was already dating the bigger guy and he gets punched by the bigger guy. The brash girl tries to comfort him after but since he's angry he tries to force himself on her. She gets really angry at him saying he's really "fucked up" and ignores him after that. The guy realizes it hurts more to think the brash girl hates him than getting rejected by the sweet girl. So he apologizes and then invites her home to have dinner with his family. He thinks she has a cute side. His dad said he got tricked by the brash girl just like his mom (who is aggressive) trapped the dad.

Story 3
This is the story of two best girlfriends who are really bad at judging men. During summer break they decide to observe guys as part of a scientific project. They aren't allow to date the guys during this period, just observe. They go to the karate's club summer training camp to help as assistants. There they observe many things like how guys react to lack of sexual release (it's been banned by their coach) and how they react to cute girls (the coach's cunning little sister). One of the girls is attracted to the club president. The other one is always getting bothered by another guy who is in their normal class. The other girl tells the guy who bothers her that guys are never faithful. If she ever really truly liked someone, she would never betray them. At the end, contrary to their observations, the guy who bothers her chooses her over the coach's sister who practically threw herself naked on him. He was faithful to her because he really likes her.

Story 4
This is the story of a girl with an overprotective dad and brother. All the guys she has dated have ran away because of this. With her latest bf, she might be able to sneak away to a party to see him. She does so with a lot of trouble and at the end the bf thinks she's leaving early because she doesn't really like him. She explains to him about her overprotective dad and says sorry for being so troublesome. He comes to the house the next day to introduce himself even though the dad is crazy.

Sakura Irony

All too aware of being "just a teenager," Chiho is willing to do what it takes to confess her love to Somei-sensei, her teacher and the guy of her dreams. Still haunted by nightmares of a confession gone wrong years ago, she hopes for some high school romance... but wait, the nightmare himself is back, and he's going to her high school?! Things just got a whole lot more complicated for Chiho...

Details:
It turns out her older sister is dating the teacher Chiho liked. After a little suffereing, she confessed to her teacher to get it off her chest and she felt better. She got over sensai and was happy for her sis. Then she still got bothered by the guy she had confessed to as a child. He's a sullen guy. Eventually she gets him made enough that he stops bothering her. She later learns that he's the son of sensai and he's has a hard past which was what led him to be a bully. He really was charmed by the little girl who said she cared for him. They end up together.

Extra Story 1 " Suki Nanda Baka Yarou"
This story is about a popular boy. She has dozen of boys wrapped around her finger. But then she falls for a really cool playboy guy from another HS. This boy is even a bigger player than her. She has the adoration of many, but at the end of the day she only wants him.

Extra Story 2 "Unmei Nante Sonna Mono "
This is the story of a girl who was asked out by a boy and she said yes to him even though she didn't like him. He's very devout and sweet. But she meets a guy at her cram school and tells her bf she wants to break up. He says if its because she fell for another guy that it was okay, he'd still be by her side until she really didn't need him. When he sees her on a date with the new guy he realizes its over. At that moment the girl realizes she really likes him and runs after him. Her bf forgives her.

Seishun Walker

Story 1
I liked the first story a lot. It's about a tomboy girl who doesn't act like a girl. She has a childhood best guy friend who she used to take care of when they were both little. However, now he's taller than her. He's been telling her to act like a girl and that he thinks of her as a girl. She doesn't really see that he likes her. She starts to think that perhaps she's been holding him back because he's never dated, but he tells her he likes being with her. After she overhears another girl confessing to him and him rejecting the girl, saying he already had someone he liked, she realizes he likes her. And she tells him to get away from her, that she doesn't feel comfortable around him. She later realizes she was in the wrong, that she never wanted to be away from him, and that she likes him. He shows up and they are happy forever after :)

Story 2
This is a story about a girl and an older boy. He starts as a teacher in the school the girl goes to. They have to keep their relationship a secret which is hard. A boy in the class starts to pursue the girl. She rejects him but he won't have no for an answer. He's a rough looking guy. He eventually find out that the girl is dating the teacher and blackmails her. He makes her break up with the teacher. He also wanted her to start dating him but she refused to do that saying her heart is only filled with the teacher and their wasn't even a little tiny space for him. The teacher figures out what was going on and he says he wants to be with her even if it jeopardizes his career.

Story 3
I also really liked this story. Maybe the best of the three. A girl is suffering because her boyfriend left her for another girl. She used to ride behind him while he rode the bike, but ever since the break up she has been walking the bike to school and then walking it back home. A boy takes notice of this and he starts to be interested in her. He's a cheerful fellow and offers to teach her how to ride bike. She doesn't know how to. She doesn't want to at first but then she agrees because she wants to work on getting over her ex. When she starts to be interested in the new guy she is afraid of getting hurt again. However, she decides she wants to be with him regardless. All wounds heal.

Story 1
"Peach or Lemon"
I really enjoyed this story. It's a story about a boy and girl. Their respective best friends have started dating. And somehow they ended up alone together after their friends went off on a date. Instead of going their separate ways they have a nice time hanging out. In order to decide whether they were going to hang out again they decided to leave it to fate. The boy tells the girl to pick a candy out of this candy pack he has. The pack has both lemon and peach candy. If it's peach, they go out again. If it's lemon, they won't. She picks peach. :) This isn't the end but it's a very very cute story. Worth reading more than once.

Story 2
"The Flower the Blooms in You"
This story was beautiful and dramatic! It was like a soap opera but in a good way. It was actually better than a soap opera. This is the story of two twin sisters. One twin is like the day, and another is like the night. The sister that is like the day has just become engaged to a man who is studying to be a surgeon. The sister that is like the night also loves the man. She suffers silently because of her sister's engagement but she is selfless and she wishes them happiness. The fiance asks her to help him pick out a ring. They go and when they are walking out of the department store a construction beam falls down. The man pushes the sister out of the way but gets injured himself. It turns out he is not killed but blinded by the accident. When the sister who is getting married finds out she cries that she is not strong enough to be by his side if he's blind. The other sister knows that if he were to be abandoned by the one he loves at the moment, he'd be destroyed. So she acts like her sister in front of him and takes care of him. When he is able to get a cornea transplant and is able to see again, the sister who is like the night begs the sister who is like the day to take her place again like nothing happened and get married with the man.

Story 3
"Field-trip on a Monday"
This story was very bland and I did not like it at all. A guy gets confessed to two girls on the same day. Since he doesn't really care, he says yes to the first one. It just so happens that he was actually more compatible with the second one. But he didn't know that just yet. He doesn't get along with the first one at all. The second one asks him to go on a date with her spontaneously, so they skip school and go to a field. The second one is moving over seas soon and just wanted one date with him. He wonders what would have happened if she had confessed first. They hold hands and kiss and when he gets back to school, the first girl breaks up with him. And he later goes to the same field alone, missing the second girl.

Story 4
"Snow, Piling Up Feelings"
This story is about Saori. She likes a boy in her class and they go home together one day after school. She makes him a key holder and wants to give it to him, but she thinks he got given a brand name key holder at school the next day by another girl. She also has a childhood friend, and her crush thinks that she likes the friend because they are very familiar with each other. It creates a misunderstanding but later the girl confesses and it clears up the problems.

Story 5
"Senpai and his Girlfriend"
This is a really short story about a guy who has a kohai as a gf. She's very cool and is the only girl who doesn't call him by his last name. She gets a little jealous when she sees he also calls girls by their given name. On the way home from school he says her first name too and she mutters his as well, embarrassed.

Koisuru Heart ga No to Iu

Story 1
This story is about a good student girl who is told to make the class playboy come to class. She tries but he says the only way he'll do it is if she kisses him. She does it. In the process she skips class with him twice. He helps her not get caught by a teacher once. He comes to school the next day and keeps his promise. Rumors start spreading about them and she denies it until she admits that she loves him.

Story 2
This is about a girl who asks a nerdy guy to pose as her bf during the time 3rd year students start asking people to date them in order to avoid the hassle. He does it for 100 dollars. She falls for him but he still accepts the 100 dollars at the end. She confesses after and he admits that he had been watching her for a long time now.

Story 3
This is the story of a girl who hates this classmate because he used to hang out with her and her friends but now was very studious. She finds him playing the piano and they get along again. He explains he has gotten serious about continuing his piano studies and getting into a good college. He helps her out with her issues with her father who is a teacher and her decision of what to do after HS. And they fall in love.

Story 4
Yukino goes to a Catholic school but hates Christmas. She sneaks out of school with the help of a mysterious guy who shows her that despite the materialistic Christmas, in essence people are very happy during the season. He turns out to be an attendant for the pastor who had been watching her sad face for a while.

Houkago Seifuku o Nuide

I hated all these stories! So dumb!

Story 1
This story is about a cute girl and a stoic boy who are dating. The girl says how her manga characters are her ideal type. The stoic boy misunderstands and tries to act more like the manga characters. His behavior is weird so the girl starts thinking he's cheating on her and wants to break up. Misunderstanding is cleared up. The end.

Story 2
This story is about a HS girl in cram school whose teacher is a cousin. He's really popular and protective as well of the girl. He dares her to act more like a woman and fake date him. He forces a kiss on her in order to get her to think of him as a man and later makes her jealous by flirting with students at school. She comes running to him and he tells her he is protective of her because he wanted her to be his woman.

Story 3
A class president wake up in the house of her classmate who is a dangerous son of a yakuza man. She thinks they did something and he makes it seem like they did too. He tells her he'll keep quiet if she gives him a kiss. Which she does embarrassed. He helps her out various times after that and they share another kiss. The study body somehow finds out that she stayed over at his house. The boy disclaims it and tells the truth. How she was too drunk to go home so he just carried her over to his house which was close and nothing happened. The girl, who also hears, gets mad for being lied at. The boy confesses his long time crush and the girls says she has fallen for him too.

Story 4
This story is about a girl who was shunned in her 1st year of HS for being herself around her friends. That's why in her 2nd year, with new friends, she hides her feelings and gives fake smiles. She doesn't tell her friend that she also likes the same guy she does, the most popular boy in the class. She catches the eye of the popular boy. He tells her he wants to be with her. She rejects him and tells him she can't be herself because she'll lose her friends and he says he'll stay by her side. Eventually they sleep together and her friend finds out. She tells her friends the truth and they still get mad at her, except one who says she understands. And the girls still has the guy to keep her company.

Story 5
In this story Himeko has to start working in order to continue going to school. She gets a job as a maid for a rich young guy. She becomes a favorite of his because she is bashful and refuses to sleep with him. When he pays her for her job she, who has fallen in love with him, refuses to take it. He tells her he wants to marry her.

Story 6
In this story a girl gets drunk and ends up spending the night with the class playboy she doesn't like very much. She gave him many love bites and he says she has to be his gf until they disappear. She starts liking him and when she doesn't have to be his gf anymore and he's going to spend the night with someone else, she gives him another love bite. He confesses that he was being a playboy because he wanted to catch her attention and that he loved her.

Odeko no Mahou

Story 1 is about Eiko, a girl who gets kicked in the face with a soccer ball. The guy who kicked the ball is the cheerful Shigeru, who likes her. Eiko however doesn't like him. She likes her sempai who works at her part time with her. What is odd in this story though is that the soccer to the face results in Eiko having a word written on her forehead that changes to whatever mood she is feeling. Only she and Shigeru can see it. Things get dramatic when Shigeru finds out Eiko had feelings for her sempai because of the word. She confesses to her sempai and gets rejected. When Shigeru also gets hurt during soccer, she goes to see him at the infirmary. She tells him about her failed confession and that she's happy she did it. He understands her feelings. And she says she feels happy whenever she's around him.

Story 2 oddly has three mini stories within one. The first one is about a girl Aida who sits behind her crush. He had her lose her favorite charm once and he went out of his way to buy her one. She blushes and tells him that he's the cause of her blushing. The second one is about a boy who wants to quit the drama club he joined just because a senpai asked him for a favor since the club didn't have enough people to remain open. He feels like he's no use, just decoration, like a mint leaf on a plate. His senpai tells him she likes the taste of mint leaf and he decides to stay. The third one is about a girl who is the senpai for the swimteam. Everyday her team gets harassed by a group of guys led by Yasui who peak at the girls. The main character always fights with Yasui. When she has to leave the team in order to focus on entering college she feels bored and sad and she misses...Yasui. She passes by her team's practice one afternoon and it turns out Yasui hasn't been passing by anymore. She bumps into him after and he tells her he's been missing her too. The stories are all about the beginning of a love.

Story 3 is about a lazy school girl who always gets scolded by her young teacher. One day her older sis has her go to a match making party in her place. The girl dresses a lot older than she looks and goes to the party. She meets her teacher there and he asks her out. She takes this as a chance of revenge on her teacher who always scolds her and decides to make him fall in love in order to later break him. However, as time passes she sees how much he cares for her as a student and she starts to like him. He discovers the truth later and becomes angry. But he returns to her when she's sorry because he can no longer see her as just a student.

Story 4 was about a girl who made a bet with her older neighbor. She likes him and he always rejects her for ridiculous reasons. This time he said he will go on a date with her if it doesn't rain the next time even thought the forecast is 100% rain. The girl makes an Teruterubozu to ward off the rain. The Tereterubozu comes to life and stops the rain but also jeopardizes the date in many other ways.

Tabetai Hito

Story 1
This is a story about a pair of childhood friends. He is two years older than her. She wants to be with him but he treats her like a little kid. He dates other girls often and currently has a gf. She finally kisses him and tells him she wants him to look at her like a woman. After coming to his room like usual, he attacks her in kisses and groping but he tells her he doesn't love her. She is sad and runs, deciding to accept the love proposal she got from another boy at school. However, her childhood friend takes her away. He tells her that he has always loved her, he had been lying. The he is a dangerous guys who always dreamed of doing perverted things to her. That that is why he dates other women often. He is trying to sedate his love because he doesn't want to corrupt her. She tells him that she wants him to take her and he says he's going to eat her up right there.

Story 2
This story is about a glasses girl, class rep, who loves the flashy, playboy guy in the class. She fell in love with him at first sight but she realized she couldn't enter his world so she hid her feelings. The playboy often says that he is in love with a girl who likes his long honey colored hair. One day after school, the girl has to tutor the guy, and he says he knows she likes him and tells her to admit it. She denies it and he forces a kiss upon her. She bites his lip and runs. The next day, if front of everyone, he says she was the one who bit his lip. He says she's the one who complimented his hair one day when she thought he was asleep. And he tells her to admit she likes him. And she finally does.

Story 3
This is a story about a girl who loves a boy who has a boyfriend. She has liked him for two years because he only smile kindly at his gf. His gf leaves him for another guy. At this time the main character goes after the guy. She comforts him when he sees his ex with the new bf. They walk home together and play on a toy machine. He gives her a stuffed animal and a kiss on the forehead. She confesses. The ex comes by and asks to talk to the boy. He leaves and the main character is sad. But the boy returns, he turned down his ex and he smiles and laughs with the main character.

Story 4
This girl goes to a school with a bldg for smart students and normal students. One day a very small girl from the normal student school gets helped by a tall boy from the smart students school. They start dating after she rashly confesses (accidentally sent text). She breaks up with him because she is intimidated and scared by him. He is sad because he has liked her for a long time. But eventually she realizes she really loved him and wanted to be with him although she is scared.

Kanon

Story 1
This is the story of a girl called Kanon, like the piece of classical music. One day she hears her teacher playing it after school. She falls for him and lets him know. Her teacher tells her that he's not interested in little girls who can't even pay for their own phone bill. She gets a part time job because of this but it turns out he's in love with a married music teacher. The music teacher uses him to escort her home because she has a stalker. Eventually, the music teacher moves away to be with her husband. Kanon still insists on being with her teacher and he returns her feelings.

I didn't enjoy this story very much. Didn't like the characters and it was long.

Story 2
A girl called Tsubasa wants to give her crush a gift and confess. He's a basketball player and she plans to do it after one of his games. But she wasn't able to catch him so she asks a teammate of his to do it instead. However, Tsubasa sees her crush and it turns out he has a bf. She later bumps into the teammate as well and asks for her present back. They get stuck in the rain under a small roof. She starts to like being with the teammate. He leaves with another girl who has an umbrella but returns after buying an umbrella at the convenience story to come and get her.

I liked this one too.

Story 3
This is the story of Daiyumi, a girl who feels depressed and pressured in class every day because her ex boyfriend (who left her for another girl) is in the same class and she has to see him everyday. Another cheerful boy in her class sees her in an outside stairwell with a gun to her head. He trips up because of this and it turns out it was a toy gun. As he gets to know her and her situation better, he defends her and later Daiyumi kills her feelings for her ex with a new love.

Really cute story~ it was playful.

Story 4
This story is about a girl who is single for Christmas. Her friend from her class makes fun of her. She tells him that she's going to meet a boy after school, which is true, but it's her seven year old cousin. To her embarrasment she bumps into the boy after school and he laughs at her "date". But he hangs out with her and her cousin the rest of the day and has fun. When she finds out she's going to baby sit again on Christmas Day, she invites the boy in her class to come with. They even agree to exchange presents. However, her sister tells her she doesn't have to babysit anymore so she tells the boy they don't have to hang out anymore. The boy is clearly disappointed and doesn't even accept the gift she wants to give him. On Christmas Eve the girl is really sad about how things turned out. She wanted to give the boy and spend Christmas with him because she liked him. She goes to find him and try again. He tells her he's slow and gives her the present he got her too.

I really liked it! But it ended abruptly :/

Harenchi

Harenchi
A girl is kissing the boyfriend of her best friend in her classmates. "It just happened" but the moment someone saw them the boy left running, leaving the girl behind. The person who had spied them was one of the smartest and most serious guys in the school. He didn't get in her business though and didn't tell anyone. Regardless, the boyfriend soon went back to his girlfriend and the main girl was ostracized. She takes refuge in a classroom the smart boy uses to study. He's studying physics and he explains the mutual attraction between things behind the concept of gravity. The girl starts to like this loyal boy and he starts to like her too.

Dempa
This story is about a girl who goes to cram school. Every day she walks home, tired of the day to day. One day she is serenaded by a boy who plays guitar on the street. She ignores him but is forced to talk to him after she loses her phone and he finds it for her. She starts to really enjoy their time together. When he gets a record deal and becomes famous, she shys away from him. He's really sad. But after hearing his new love song, she goes to find him.

Kuri Musu Da
This is about two childhood friends. She likes him, but he loves his art teacher. He has always loved ice cream floats but starts to drink coffee like the teacher. The girls supports his love because she wants to see him happy. But when they find out the teacher has a boyfriend, the boy is devestated and hates himself for being childish. She says he's find the way he is, that she likes him just the way he is. He later goes to find her and says he realizes she means a lot to him and that would be devastated if she wasn't by his side.

All the stories were enjoyable~ not second time around reads but nice :)

Boku no Sekai Kimi no Real

Story 1
I really enjoyed this first story! It was soo cute! Yoshi (the girl) and Hagiwara had been in the same class for two years when their eyes met across the room and there was an instant connection. However, whenever Hagiwara teases Yoshi about her falling for him at first sight she irritably tells him no way! Things continue this way even though Yoshi is determined to tell him the truth before summer break.

Story 2
This story is about a girl who does really poorly for her midterms and gets a home tutor. He's really cute and young and she likes him. He's a very scary teacher but he works hard to teach her. She doesn't give up because she wants to make her efforts pay off.

Story 3
Story 3 was just okay. It's about a girl who is in love with her brother's best friend. There is a four year age difference. She's in HS and he's in college. The girl is treated by a baby by her crush and hates it. She gets very jealous of the new older girls her crush is meeting in college to the point that she dresses up as an older girl and sneaks into a college party. At the end it turns out the crush liked her too but was waiting for her to be old enough so they could be together.

Story 4
This story is about a girl who say her brother's porn when she was very young and has been traumatized about doing ecchi things with any one. When the guy she likes asks her to be her gf she becomes very scared but he agrees that they don't have to do ecchi things.

A VERY CUTE COLLECTION OVER ALL! :D

Warui Ko no Mikata

1. Warui ko no Mikata
A young couple awkwardly tries to take the next step in their relationship. Yuko wants to sleep with her boyfriend but things have no developed. She asks advice from her friends and even looks at dirty magazines. When the chance to go on an overnight trip with Ryoju arises, she eagerly agrees to go. However, after pushing him away while trying on a new dress for the trip, Ryouji gets the wrong idea that Yuko doesn't want him to touch her. So he is nervous and cold during the trip. Things go wrong but there are quickly cleared up after the misunderstanding is talked about and they have a happy night.

2. Kono Otoko de Ii no ka?
A girl finds herself caught between two brothers, one nice, the other bad. Rin loves Higa, her sempai from her club. She asks him to tutor her as an excuse to get close to him and he invites her over to her house. However, at the house, she encounters Kazumi, Higa's older brother. Kazumi is like black and Hige is like white. He is a playboy and quickly tries to put moves on Rin. However, the one Rin loves is Higa. Until slowly her feelings start to change. Even when it turns out Higa likes her as well, Rin chooses to be with Kazumi.

3. Citrus Sweat
A girl goes on a group date only to be stuck with a dude obsessed with being physically fit.
Erimi has dreamed of dating a guy from K West High, a school full of handsome and stylish guys! She goes to a party expecting to meet one of those guys... instead she ends up with Shinichi, a sports mad guy with absolutely no interest in girls! Are Erimi's dating hopes dashed?! I LOOOOOVED THIS! :D

4. Zutto Kimi no Oujisama
The main girl loves the pretty guy in her class. Her childhood friend, who obviously likes her, is horrified when he finds out. She asks him if he's jealous and he says yes. She's surprised about his feelings for her. She still likes the boy from her class. However, in class the pretty boy is really mean to her and he childhood friend comes to defend her. The girl remembers when they used to play prince and princess as kids and he would always want to be the prince so he could come to her rescue. Her childhood friend asks her if its weird for him to protect her and she says no.

I thought story 1 was acceptable, a little boring and dumb. I enjoyed story 2 a lot. I LOOOVED story 3. Story 4 is short and the art is the most crude (probably one of the mangaka's first) but it was really cute.

Hand-in-hand Lovers

Kumaguwa Nahoko is a very helpful girl; actually she is just unable to say "no" to people's requests. When one of her classmates, Sasabi Naoki, asks her out she accepts his proposal because she doesn't know how to refuse him. Later she finds out that he is actually a player. Will she be able to say her own feelings to him next time? Turns out he's not a player at the end. He thinks she just said yes to him because she doesn't say no to anyone. When she finally falls for him he breaks up with her. Turns out he's transferring. She goes to find him at the train station and tells him she still wants to be with him.

Review
It's a one chapter story. I like the art style and the story is cute and simple. A read that doesn't make you feel like you wasted your time but not they type of story to read more than once.

Hana to Watashi ni Ongaku wo

This is a short story about a pair of childhood friends who loved to listen to classical music in the garden as small children. When the boy wants to get into a fight, the girl convinces him not to by playing classical music during a dangerous moment. She tells him she did it for him and he says he was getting into the fight to protect her too.

It was a little dumb but cute. I wouldn't go out of my way to reread it.

Shibou to Iu Na no Fuku o Kite

(In the Clothes Named Fat)










A story that wonderfully depicts the emotions of an overweight woman with low self-esteem surrounded within the harsh environment of slim and good-looking women. She then decides to lose weight after getting dumped by her lover. The consequences and side-effects are explored further after the 'achievement'..is it what she really wished for?

The question in the summary is how the manga ended. There was no real finish which was a little disappointing. It was a good josei manga. Almost a little disturbing. Showed the emotional imbalances of a person. But no good ending :(

Finals Week and Winter Break

I guess it was that time of year again! I started reading a lot of oneshots. It's a little like an addiction~ I bumped into a few awesome ones and then I wanted to read more and more until I found more awesome ones. Unfortunately you also run into some really horrible stories here and there ~____~
