Story 3: The one about the girl who hopes her actual life is a dream she will wake up from soon. She isn’t happy with what she is, and her feelings are amplified when she meets a guy she likes.

Reviews:

Story 1: Okay, I was in love with the guy in this story for some reason. He was just so friendly and reliable. What I admire about the mangaka is how she makes boys who are very true to life and likeable. I thought the story was interesting and had a lot of potential but somehow towards the end I lost it. The confession wasn’t satisfying and her make up face was a little bit not cute. Maybe if the mangaka had focused more on his feelings more (since he had been holding back all this time) during the confession it would have been better.

Story 2: I loved this guy too! So rough around the edges! A very cute story. It also had a few uncomfortable moments around the end and the ending was not too conclusive but cute J

Story 3: I never expected a story like this. The fact that she even attempted to write a story on this topic is really neat. I liked the message behind this story a lot. And liked the vague ending in this one. Haha Because I didn’t want to see the protagonist get hurt.

Bye Bye Little

Story 1- The one about a reliable girl who has to take care of her little brother and tend the house since her dad passed away and her mother works. She never relies on any one but herself until she again meets a childhood friend who has changed from a cry baby to a reliable young man. She used to take care of him but recently he has been returning the favor, evoking both painful feelings about her past and romantic feeling in the present.

Story 2- The one about the girl who confesses to the guy she likes and is accepted. However, he is very detached with her and her feeling begin to fade without her notice. She begins to like her boyfriend's friend instead.

Story 3- The one where a noncute girl falls for her close guy friend who only likes cute girls.

Story 4- The one about a couple who are perceived by outsiders as perfect but who in reality have a lot of problems in their home lives.

Review:

Story 1- I really really liked this story. I was very sad when she said she had promised her dad she wouldn’t cry. I LOVED THE BOY IN THIS STORY! Such a cute mole, and eyes, and hair. And he was so reliable. I wished I could have seen a little bit more of what happened after she confessed to him!!!

Story 2- I liked the break up scene because they both acknowledged that they had changed and their feelings had changed. The rest of the story overall didn’t do it for me. Haha

Story 3- I didn’t like this one too much because the guy was stupid. Haha~ and her confession in front of their mutual friends was embarrassing.

Story 4- The ran away from home. The end. WHAT!!!?! Where is the story? Lol I didn’t like this one too much.

Review:

I didn't like the actual story much. I preferred the oneshots at the end of the 2nd volume.

 I don't even remember this one but it seems like a bad story. Haha :)

The translation was a little rough. Its basically the story of a girl who acts "girly" around guys to make them like her. She meets a guy at a goukon who sees through her act and likes her real character.

Short and not that great.

Black Coffee 

How does a girl declared by her childhood friend to be gloomy and anti-social transform into a cutie “as sweet as sugar” and every boy’s dream? And does every boy really dream of girls “as sweet as sugar”? Or is the rich and deep taste of coffee better than sugary glitter? The story of a girl who may not be sweet, but sure is as addictive as black coffee!

I don't remember the plot at all.

Babel's Letter

Even after all these years, you’re still the only one I think of… I’ll put all of my feelings into this letter for you.

A little hard to follow and sad. I thought it was just okay although its meant to be *deep*.

Ai no Tame ni

Story 1:

Akira is a kind girl who loves to be with her friends. Because of her high success rate in matchmaking, her friends have given her the title of "Queen of Introductions" (Matchmaking Queen)! But for some reason, Aki-chan can't seem to get a boyfriend for herself.

I loved this one! So cute!

Story 2:

This story is about a naive girl and a naive guy (naive as in no love experiance). The guy, to shut his friends up, boast that he can get a girl and have her kiss him within a month. They make a bet. He meets the naive girl and then he actually falls for her.

Cute too, alright.

Story 3:

This story is about a guy and his friends on valentine's day, the day all guys want chocolate. The main guy just wants a girl to give him chocolates, although there is no girl he partciularly likes. However, he then starts noticing the girl who sits close to him in class, and pretty soon he is really anticipating chocolate from her.

This is such a CUTE story! From the guy's pov. He was really funny, I liked it a lot.

This is a story about a couple of seniors. The boy will be moving away after graduation to attend the university. He was a but cold but one day gave her a piece of jewelry she really treasured. She then misplaces it and they come to a lot of misunderstandings while trying to find it.

Story 1: Popular guy and school councilor story. Very generic and due to the girl's personality a little bland.

Story 2: It was unique in the sense that it was more like a story of a teacher helping a troubled girl find her dream and the strength to follow it than a romance.

Story 3: I really liked this one because it was the unique story of the friendship btw two girls. No romance.

Story 4: I had read this one before. "For Us Who Begin To Love"

Story 5: About a pair of twins, when one falls for the new guy, she becomes suspicious of her sister trying to steal her bf and doesn't believe her twin when she tells her the guy is trying to exploit her.

This is the premiere work of a manga-ka and it's really cute. Short and generic but still cute.


3 Hearts

Thief Gintonic seeks the mysterious treasures known as "The Three Hearts". One night a mysterious woman falls from the sky claiming to be an escaped Princess from a sacked castle. As fate would have it, she has one of The Hearts. But is she really who she says she is? And will Gintonic let her live to fulfill her mission?

A twist and inconclusive ending, it was an adventure romance, very pretty. Okay.

First Love - Anata ga Watashi o Sabishiku Saseru

Azayoshi lives in an empty world, there is no hope or happiness, all she wants is a person who will never leave her side. Suddenly Ai steps into her dark world. To her he was her love. But what will happen when he discovers Azayoshi's past? Why is she keeping secrets from Ai?

Essentially, Azayoshi sleeps with men for money. She becomes attracted to Ai who is nice to her and decides to stop sleeping with men for money. When she gets home one say, her mom's new bf is one of Azayoshi's old clients and to top it all off, his son is Ai. It was an interesting manga but not that great. The tone of the volume reminded me of Confidential Confessions and the like.

Momoka and a friend are standing at their classroom window, checking out some cute senpai boys. Momoka prefers boys with shorter hair. Her friend says that Shibahara isn't Momoka's type. Shibahara is a boy in their class, and he has long hair that obscures his face. The next day, Momoka finds out that Shibahara arrives to class with a new, short, haircut! And wow, he is actually very cute! Momoka can’t believe this. Could he had overheard her conversation yesterday? Or is this a coincidence? Could he really have cut his hair for Momoka? Momoka suddenly finds herself very aware of Shibahara. Is she falling for him?

I liked Love Spell. The second story is really bad. And the first one was okay.

I really liked this collection. The stories were all sweet.
